My Joni

Just feelin like a bad mommy when I noticed I have no updated pictures of Joni for the world to see. She is the best little thing and so fun to have around. The kids still can't get enough of her. She smiles all the time, even when she doesn't want to. I think we will keep her.

Let's go fly a kite

I hate the wind, so flying kites made this windy day seem wonderful...until Evelyn landed on the roof of another house and is still there and Porter got his caught in two trees. Happy they were on clearence.

Ward Rodeo

Horse poop!!! You better believe his hands got sanatized after that.

We all say "My ward is the best", but my ward really is! We are so lucky to have people like the Stewarts in the Gilcrease Ranch Ward, who have these awesome ranches and share them with the rest of us city folk. We rode horses, potato bag races, held horse crap, caught pigs in the sloppy pig pen and caught bulls in the arena. Thank you David and Thresa and the whole Stewart clan.

One week without my "precious"

Our family has officially shut the TV off! My precious TV is gone. I sort of feel like Golum in his love hate relationship with a stupid object. When Joe and I were talking of all the great things we could be doing without the tv, I actualy got teary eyed just thinking of no Food Network, or the babysitter it is for the kids, or the "boob tube" it is for me literaly...my nursing time. The entire family watches way too much. Last Sunday, I told the kids and to my surprise they were fine with it and have been fine since. I have been perfectly content as well. I just get a little lost and confused as where to sit down in my own house...silly, I know, but sooo true. We did cheat yesterday with the Bachelor. Cable company never came to pick up the box yet. Dang that Jason, he let me down a little.

Bikes and Blessing

On the 1st of Feb., Joni was blessed by Joe. It was a memorable time in her life, but went way to fast. Sacrament is at 9am and we rushed out the door so quick, I was only able to get these few photos of her. Everyone from my family was there and most of Joe's, which is always great to see, and a few freinds. It was a beautiful blessing and the spirit was so strong. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and am so greatful for these opportunities to be with family in church. Don't want to brag, but is she just the cutest thing ever?!!




Last weekend Joe brought these home! From Target! I love Target! With us riding around, it got Porter motivated because he asked for the training wheels to come off. First try and he was off! I can't believe how well he rode it. He is addicted and loves to brag to everyone of his huge accomplishment.

During my doctor's appointment on Monday morning, we discovered a slight problem. I had amniotic fluid already coming out and the doctor sent me straight to the hospital. My phone call to Joe was, "Just let the kids see Santa (Waiting in an hour in a half long line to see the jolly old one) and come to hospital. I'm told I am having the baby...pause...Ha HaHa?!" So just a few hours later, epidural, 20 min. later, fully crowned, and two pushes, Joni was here. We can't believe we have a new little baby in the home. She has been a little piece of heaven for our family and so greatful she is healthy and so far so good with me.
