During my doctor's appointment on Monday morning, we discovered a slight problem. I had amniotic fluid already coming out and the doctor sent me straight to the hospital. My phone call to Joe was, "Just let the kids see Santa (Waiting in an hour in a half long line to see the jolly old one) and come to hospital. I'm told I am having the baby...pause...Ha HaHa?!" So just a few hours later, epidural, 20 min. later, fully crowned, and two pushes, Joni was here. We can't believe we have a new little baby in the home. She has been a little piece of heaven for our family and so greatful she is healthy and so far so good with me.

Yes, Kasey, he did keep it a secret the whole time! The only person he told was my Granny, so she could get started on a quilt. Crazy as it may sound, I forgot I didn't know until the doctor said "it's a girl".
