Introducing...Cody

Call us stupid, enlightened, whatever... but we now have a dog. I have to say this is no ordinary dog. He is the cutest thing ever and well trained. For any of you who know Joe, knows of his germ-a-phobia, and he loves the dog too. I picked him up from my friend Cindy's house yesterday and though I had seen pictures, I couldn't believe the size. His face looks like a grizzly and his body is strong, yet he isn't exceptionaly tall. So I brought him home and it has been about 24 hours and the jitters are kind of going away. I told Joe that I feel like a brand new mommy. I constantly watch his every move hoping he loves it here with us and last night I couldn't sleep, because I was trying to listen to his breathing. I know ...crazy! Then this morning, I jumped out of bed after I heard his colar rattle and ran him downstairs and out the door so he could go pee and I set the alarm off. Then to make matters worse, I felt he was scared and so I just pet him for 1/2 hour after. Needless to say he is getting alot of attention and exercise, but I need to lay off maybe a little. Time will only tell. The kids love him, especially Evelyn, our dog lover.

I am glad to see Everyone is adjusting well. Cody is such a lovey, yes, a large one but none the less a lovey! I can't wait to hear more about your adjustments when we are working out I have been ditching because I have been slammed with the Elementary school yearbook for Preston's school (I am making the ENTIRE book)! I had some GIANT deadlines with the printing company and of course that's when the hiccups happen! So I'll be back soon, no worries, just life getting the best of me...or should I say the best of my hips, butt, and thighs!:)Kiss Cody for me!

We have been going through Cody withdrawls!!! I was looking at pictures of my kids with him and I have to admit got a little teary eyed. I am glad he is doing good.

How sweet! How fun for you and you're kids! We can't have dogs, because we're allergic...bummer. We might get a turtle though....?

The dog is so sweet. That's all Porter could talk about when we had him the other day. He loves him!!
I really want to get a big dog, but especially when you get a puppy it is like having a new baby. I don't know if I have the time. Some day:)

You're such a good Mom for getting a dog and loving it so much. My kids would love to have a dog but I don't think I'm ready. Cody looks so friendly.
