With the hot Vegas weather, I think most of us Las Vegans need a break from this place. We as of yet have not left this summer for any vacations. I am going crazy!!!! So Joe and I decided we needed a little mountain air at least. So we made our way "out of town" to the very top of Stimpson, just before you head down to girls camp, with some of my sisters and their families. We found a sweet spot to hang out. There were actually a bunch of unused sites. The weather was truly amazing knowing we weren't far from home and I wished we had stayed over night. We took a little walk down to Camp Stimpson, between stakes taking down and setting up and let the kids loose. We came back up to our special little site and ate whatever each family brought for dinner and watched Joe start a fire with my tiny hairspray bottle worth $7. Sacrifice! Joe really started it the Girl Scout way:) We made smores and drove home to the hellish weather of Vegas again:(
