The morning after we drove into Newport we ate "Mexican breakfast" and Porter and Maddie loved sitting next to each other. Match made in heaven, or so the Herrera's and Harris' hope.
On Balboa Island, getting our fill of the semi run down, yet "must do" rides they have to offer.
The new shades never came off of Evelyn after this picture. My daughter is so into looking good already. Totaly in for it with her.

We all look so white in this picture, but we all got fried so fast. Every year, that first tan never turns out like I plan...my skin is just too white in April.
This picture of Porter is one I wasn't sure if I should show, but what the heck, my child is so silly and he thinks this is the funniest thing he ever saw.
We had a blast in Newport with the Harris family and can't wait for our next trip to California. I love it there.

this is one of the top reasons i miss vegas! i loved going to the beach and disneyland. i feel like i will never be that close again to those fun things. hopefully i am wrong!
I love Newport! My family rented a beach house just this past Thanksgiving and we spent the week and Turkey day down there...it was a beautiful time of year! Funny you mention how white everyone is...I was noticing that this past weekend with the warm weather and people in tanks and shorts...they look like they hadn't seen the sun in decades! Gotta love the sun!
