My Little Flopsie Mopsie

Lately, my little Evelyn has become this monster that is too cute to actually get mad at. Everyone who see her thinks she is a perfect child and seems so well mannered. Usually, she is in public, but she has this side of her that I can't control. I have to admit that I WILL appreciate her hard headed ways when she becomes a beautiful, CTR teenager (I pray) and as for now she is too much fun to laugh at. We love her spirit in our home and makes life and motherhood full of surprises. I thank my Heavenly Father for this delightful, full of energy, girly-girl he gave me.

She never eats what I cook for her, but she seems to live off of the snacks she finds in the pantry.

After church last week, Evelyn took off her diaper and jumped in our little ghetto pool in our backyard. How was I to get mad at that face?

Porter's version of the story is that after she fell asleep in the couch, she wakes up for enough time to walk over to Porter's huge chunk of chewed up gum and plant it into her beautiful curls and fall back asleep. With a little peanut butter and a little pain, it all came out followed by a really good bath.

She is getting so big! It funny how they seem to grow up so much right before the next baby comes along.

Sorry I didn't make it to your Open House. Do you have a web site? Someone in my ward was asking about it.

This might be the most random question you have ever got on your blog but I am so curious to know...did your husband serve a mission in Liberty Lake, Wa? I was looking at a friends blog and then started going through other random blogs and came across yours (I recognized the name Herrera)so I had to look to see if it was the missionary who taught my husband some missionary discussions. Anyways, he does look familiar to us and I was just really curious to know. I believe his companions names were Elder Barber and Elder Green.

Sorry, I know it's a weird thing to have strangers comment on your blog but I was so curious.

WOW...what a small world! I am glad that was you and not someone else.

I thought I would give you our email address so I could answer your questions through email rather than through the blog comments. It's jimmydean1414@yahoo.com! Just send us an email and we will email back! Your family is so adorable by the way :)
